Cracow Ghetto Pharmacy

Name: Tadeusz

Country of Origin : Poland

Camps : Krakow Ghetto

Tadeusz was a non-Jewish pharmacist who operated the only pharmacy inside the Cracow ghetto during its existence, witnessing firsthand the suffering and persecution of its Jewish residents. His pharmacy became a vital space where the ghetto’s Jewish population and the outside world could briefly connect. Despite great personal risk, he aided many Jews and documented their daily hardships. For his bravery and compassion, he was honored as “Righteous Among the Nations” by Yad Vashem.
