Max Bornstein was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1921. Max lived in Canada for most of his childhood before moving back to Europe in 1933. He lived in France until he escapes when it comes under Nazi power. But, he was taken to a Spanish concentration camp. After the war, Max immigrated back to Canada where he met and married his wife Minnie and they raised 2 children. He had interests in quantum physics, international politics and Judaism and Israel. Later in his life, Max learned to play the piano. He died in Toronto, Canada in 2015.
