Bits and Pieces

Henia Reinhartz was born in Lodz, Poland in 1926. During the start of the war, Henia and her family lived in hiding in Lodz. That was before they were arrested and deported to Auschwitz in 1944. After the war when Henia was liberated, she moved to Paris for a few years, where she graduated as a Yiddush and Hebrew teacher and met her husband. She immigrated to Canada in 1951, where she lived for the rest of her life before dying in 2021.
