Eddie Jaku was born on April 14, 1920 in Leipzig, Germany. He suffered 7 years of unimaginable horrors. He was sent to Buchenwald, then to Auchwitz and then he went on a Nazi death march. He lost all of his family and many friends along the way. However, since he survived the Holocaust and all of the tragedies that happened, he vowed to smile every day and live the best life he could. He shares his wisdom and stories and lives his best life possible. He published his autobiography The Happiest Man on Earth when he turned 100. He lived in Sydney, Australia ever since the 1950’s and he died there on October 12, 2021 at the age of 101.
